Black Robin Media is a full-service minority and woman-owned media and communications company, specializing in television and video production, marketing and promotional campaigns, branded digital content, and live event production for performances, galas, award shows, conferences, town halls and sporting events.

Our Team

Lynne Robinson – CEO and Executive Producer

Lynne is a Producer, Director and Writer who founded Black Robin Media in 2011. She is the recipient of two NAACP Image Awards and part of an Emmy-Award winning documentary team, among other honors. Her work has aired on several networks including NBC, National Geographic Channel, Discovery, PBS, BET, ASPiRE, TNT and TV One. She has created short films and videos for multiple corporations, non-profits and museums, including several media exhibits in the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.

Lynne also produces and directs large-scale multi-media events, including live performances, galas, award shows, town halls and product launches for clients such as Nike, The Open Society Foundations, The Black Women’s Agenda, NBA Entertainment, TV One, UPtv and The Black Women’s Health Imperative and many more.

Carol Johnson Green – Senior Talent Producer

Industry insiders know her as “CJ”, and she has achieved tremendous success at carving out a stellar reputation and building relationships with major television, radio and print media outlets specializing in news, talk and entertainment. Her database contains an impressive contact list, which she leverages to book and engage talent in every genre. CJ has previously held positions with NBC, CNBC, FOX, BET, and NPR and has worked directly with notable personalities such as: Barack Obama, James Taylor, John Legend, Dave Chappelle, Oprah Winfrey, Ed Gordon, Bill Maher, Steve Harvey, Jennifer Hudson, Jon Stewart, and Nelson Mandela.

Traci C. Drummond – Line Producer and Production Manager

Traci is a Producer and Production Manager with expertise in television, radio and video production. Her previous management positions include serving as the Director of Operations at National Geographic Television oveseeing the Production Management and Post Production departments; Supervising Producer at The Smithsonian Channel managing the production of over 130 videos installed in the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture; and Line Producer/Production Manager for TV One’s live morning news show News One Now, hosted by Roland Martin. Her work, which has garnered two NAACP Image Awards, has made Traci an intergral part of productions for clients such as BET; Story House Productions; National Geographic Channel; National Geographic Television; Ron Brown Scholar Program; and TV One.

Sundi Lofty – Senior Producer and Writer

Sundi Lofty is a Creative Director, Writer, and Producer with experience in TV, Film, and new media production. She has created content for Refinery29, Oxygen Media, Fuse Media, Food Network, TLC, Travel Channel, Retired Living, Viacom/BET, Aspire, and TV One. Her work includes docu-reality series, news/info and entertainment specials, on-air promos, interstitials, integrated marketing, and digital and social spots. Her scripted work has placed at the Austin Film Festival (AMC’s Original Pilot Competition) and Slamdance (Teleplay Competition) and has earned her a coveted spot in the CBS Writers Mentoring Program.

Jocelyn Sigue – Senior Producer and Writer

Jocelyn Sigue is a former news reporter and anchor whose producer credits include the Emmy Award winning children’s program Teen Kids News and the long-running network program America’s Most Wanted. She specializes in creating branded video content for global clients including Audi, Disney and the Human Rights Campaign. Jocelyn also continues her work as talent serving as an on-camera host and voice narrator for various clients including Discovery and AARP.

Jordan Phillips – Production Assistant

While studying as a Journalism major and Sports Management minor at Michigan State University, and serving as a Manager on the MSU Spartan’s Basketball Team, Jordan also works as Production Assistant on several Black Robin Media projects, including television shoots, events and video editing.
